Laura Flood – Joga Instructor

She is a certified CanfitPro fitness trainer and loves to create challenging workouts for her clients.  She holds her 200 hourVinyasa Flow Yoga certification.  She is a certified JOGA(yoga for athletes) coach and has worked with athletes from the NHL, WHL and CFL.  In addition she enjoys teaching JOGA to adults, athletes and children’s sports teams.

You will find Laura teaching a variety of classes each week with everything from Vinyasa Flow Yoga, HIIT, Sculpt, Group Training Classes as well as Pre and Post-Natal groups with her mamas.  She is super excited to add Kettlebell Kickboxing classes as well!

Laura has always been very active and danced for over 17 years.  She has also taught adults and children dance for many years.  In addition to dancing she enjoys running, lifting weights, yoga and boot-camp style workouts.  Laura has a true passion for helping others get healthier.  She loves to help motivate others to achieve their health and fitness goals! 


Stacy Allen – Power Skating Instructor

I am a Calgary resident with over  20 years of skating experience. I have coached internationally with a specialty in children aged 6 – 16 years old. I have an extensive hockey background with a record of success, including winning three national championships as well as a silver medal with the University of Alberta. My power skating career started with Skate Canada as a junior instructor at the age of 12, and received certification at age 17. I have owned and coached at many hockey schools in Canada and the United States. Today my focus is on consulting minor hockey teams and running various camps. The sessions I coach per year are limited to ensure I maintain my enthusiasm and focus. 

My professional skating and hockey experience is as follows:

 U of A Pandas – played 2003 – 2007, 3 time national champ, 1 silver medal

 Athol Murray College of Notre Dame –played Midget AAA

 Professional Powerskating instructor trained with Skate Canada and Hockey Canada since 1999

 National coach program – NCCP level 3

 Hockey Alberta coaching certification – coached Midget AAA 2007/2008

Kelsey Davidson – Dryland Instructor

Kelsey Davidson, personal trainer and holistic nutritional coach with a big passion and big heart to empower and strengthen women and girls. As a young soccer player, Kelsey understands and values the dedication and love of a sport. Since opening Alive fitness in 2014 Kelsey has hosted numerous summer camps,seminars ( USA and Canada) and registered program all towards empowering youth girls and giving them tools of motivation, mindfulness and movement.

Kelsey makes a point to bring in whole health in and give her participants the tools to over come self talk, self destruction and limiting beliefs. As well as educating girls on their physical body and why they move and stretch in certain ways.

Every camp, session or seminar has a focal point and for this Impact Ringette camp, Kelseys intentions are to bring the players to a new fitness level, to break past limiting beliefs and give them the tools to overcome doubt and fear.
